MISSIONS OCÉANOGRAPHIQUES

7 au 17 Novembre 2006:mission scientifique à bord du R/V Walton Smith, financée par un projet « Biocomplexité » de la NSF et le programme « Astrobiologie » de la NASA (cf mission de Juillet pour le détail des participants).

9 au 27 Juillet 2006: mission scientifique à bord du R/V Walton Smith, financée par un projet « Biocomplexité » de la NSF et le  programme « Astrobiologie » de la NASA (http://stromatolites.info).

En coopération avec le Dr. Pamela Reid (RSMAS, Université de Miami) et des scientifiques du monde entier, le projet RIBS (Research Initiative on Bahamian Stromatolithes) a pour but l’analyse des interactions biologiques et géologiques dans écosystème de stromatolithes de trois milliards d’années à travers une approche multidisciplinaire (analyses microbiologiques, géochimiques et sédimentologiques).
